Did you know that there are more resources related to housing? How about groups devoted to advocate for fair advancement in opportunities for renters and owners? Come hear about All-In-Pittsburgh, what resources are available for housing and jobs, and how to get involved.
Community members will also receive updates on our working groups.
Carla Arnold | Community Engagement Specialist
Carla, a life-long Pittsburgher, began volunteering with our organization after being motivated at a community meeting in 2017. She has been surveying our community for over a year and recently joined our staff as the Community Engagement Specialist with AmeriCorps VISTA. Before joining us, Carla worked at Central Blood Bank for 25 years as a Special Products Aphaeresis Recruiter. She obtained an Associate’s degree in Social Sciences at Community College of Allegheny County.
Jehosha Wright | Community Outreach Coordinator
We would like to welcome the newest member of our team, Jehosha Wright. Jehosha has spent much of his professional career working in the nonprofit sector. He believes that communities and its members should have access to opportunities and resources that will allow the community to flourish. Jehosha formerly worked as Director of Program Development at The Door Campaign, Site Manager with Youthplaces, and Therapist with The Program for Offenders. He earned his undergraduate degree at Carlow University in 2015, and his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Duquesne University in 2018.
Jehosha will build meaningful and strategic relationships with neighbors, organize community meetings and events, coordinate our millennial board, and manage communications in order to further the goals of our Community Plan.
The Executive Group
The Executive Group or “The Execs”, for short, is a group of hard working student leaders at Perry High School who work to augment their leadership skills. The Perry High School pilot affords students the opportunity to learn about budgeting, program development, event planning, team-building, and board leadership. Learn more here

Step Challenge 2018
Thanks to everyone who attended the 2018 Step Challenge. The event was great! We had 115 people registered to participate, plus more runners such as doggy friends! More than 30 volunteers help direct runners along the route. Everyone had fun! Learn more about the Step Challenge at our Step Challenge Page.
