Join us for the 24th Annual, 5-Mile Urban Step & Trail Challenge on Saturday, October 12th at 8:30am that ascends Fineview’s hills, streets and staircases! Register today!
Registration is $30.00.
The Step Challenge starts at the Fineview Overlook, on Catoma Street in between Meadville and Lanark Streets.
The purpose of the Step Challenge is to promote the neighborhood with its amazing view, interesting vistas and easy access to Downtown, sporting and cultural events. This is the primary fundraiser for the Fineview Citizens Council to be able to offer unique programming to its community and to support beautification efforts of the neighborhood. The challenge has historically been an all volunteer lead effort to show how a small community can rock an adventure. Among the steps are Pittsburgh’s STEEPEST stairset (331 steps) on Rising Main Avenue which is the equivalent of a 17-story building!. The course covers 12 public staircases for a total of over 1,600 steps and provides breathtaking views along the way!

Physical Therapists from NovaCare Rehabilitation will be offering free pre and post race stretching to all participants of our Step Challenge!
